K-beauty brand Jinmee introduced its Hydrapuff skincare sheets as a convenient way for consumers to create their own DIY skincare solutions. The ultra-thin sheets are super absorbent yet they are unlike cotton pads that soak up the product that's applied—as Jinmee describes, "once you add liquid to Hydrapuff, it transforms to a soft, gel-like tissue that clings perfectly to your skin, allowing for all that product to be absorbed where it's needed." In this way, the DIY skincare sheets can be soaked in a toner, serum or oil of one's choosing to create targeted sheet masks.
These DIY skincare sheets make note of the fact that pre-soaked masks may be filled with ingredients that don't work well for individual consumers and this system gives them more control with products they already know and love.
