The Life Plankton Elixir Blue Fountain is an In-Store Solution

Biotherm and innovation studio Possible Future created an in-store skincare fountain that can be used to replenish empty product bottles in a hygienic and safe way. The Life Plankton Elixir Blue Fountain is devoted to the brand's iconic serum and it is set to be stationed at select points of sale.

As there were specific concerns related to cleanliness and hygiene related to skincare that needed extra care and attention for this project, the partners settled on a three-step process for cleaning, refilling and customizing the glass bottles of Life Plankton Elixir. After the bottles are thoroughly cleaned out, they are dried with filtered air and sterilized with UV light. Following this process, the bottles are replenished and then customized with a wave motif to indicate the number of times the packaging has been refiled.
