Skincare-Branded Scholarships

Lubriderm's Skin Scholarship Program Helps Hispanic Students

The Skin Scholarship Program by Lubriderm was launched with the help of the National Hispanic Health Foundation. The skincare brand will award 10 medical students and residents aspiring for a dermatology career $150,000 to serve Hispanic communities.

Lubriderm is a skincare brand developed by dermatologists. Its new dedicated scholarship program aims to increase USH representation and accessibility within the field. According to recent research, only 5% of US dermatologists identity as Hispanic. Lubriderm conducted a survey and discovered that more than a quarter of USH consumers have never visited a dermatologist. These findings pushed the brand to close the racial inequity and representation gap among providers and patients to ensure that all those in need of care will receive it.
