Starting a project with minimal knowledge can result in a lot of trail and error, so the 'Skildo' platform aims to connect users together in order to help DIYers get advice from fellow DIYers. A novice who's partaking in a new DIY project can simply go onto the platform to connect with those who are more skilled in the DIY area that the project falls into. This means that experts can get paid for sharing their knowledge and experience, while novice DIYers can learn more accurately how to do something rather than simply trying it out on their own.

The 'Skildo' platform comes as an evolution of the sharing economy where instead of paying others to do something for you, users are able to get firsthand advice to do it themselves.
