Australian company Forcite Helmet Systems has developed an innovative ski helmet that uses technology to take safety, comfort and pleasure on the hills to the next level. This helmet's highlight features include its ability to shoot video, let the user talk on the phone and alert authorities in the event of a crash.
The helmet is fitted with a brow-located high definition camera that captures POV footage at a maximum resolution of 1080p at 120 frames per second. Skiing implies bumps, the Forcite Helmet Systems thought of that -- this ski helmet's camera is equipped with image stabilization.
The helmet uses a Bluetooth module to communicate with the user's phone and enable them to listen to music via built-in speakers or make or receive calls using a wind-resistant mic.
