Adaptations Combines Skateboard Wear with Vintage Designs and Nuances

Adaptation is the latest millennial-oriented skateboard wear brand to emerge from Los Angeles. Its collections "speak to L.A. about L.A., from an L.A. insider's perspective." True to its mission, the Adaptation pre-Spring 2018 collection built on the legalization of marijuana in California, while the Spring/Summer line pays tribute to the carefree vibes of skateboard culture.

The brand's dedication to the city of L.A. is reflected in the production practices as well. The collapse of American Apparel -- a standard setting brand that protested sweat shops and manufactured its product line within the U.S., hasn't made in-country production easier. So intricately inspired by the L.A. scene, however, Adaptation's designer Ali Fatourechi does his best to keep the production of the inspired casual and skateboard wear within the parameters of the country, actively supporting local manufacturing.
