Silver Screen-Break Bracelets

Futurewave Fits Arc with App-Timed Wrist Vibrations

Futurewave's Arc is a silver bracelet that turns phone-use limits into a quiet wrist cue, giving phone users a break prompt without another display to check. Through a phone portal, the wearer chooses which apps to track and can set a cap such as 30 minutes of uninterrupted use before the bracelet pulses. If scrolling continues, it sends one more nudge and then restarts the interval.

Arc skips a display and does not keep a history of app use, so the reminder stays private instead of becoming another screen-time scorecard. A piezo element creates the vibration, and a curved 25mAh battery sits inside an Argentium silver form inspired by the ancient torc, keeping the hardware out of sight.

Arc remains a concept built through 3D-printed studies and prototypes, so it is not yet available. Its jewelry-first build widens digital-wellness wearables beyond tracker-like devices, and the lasting silver form makes obsolescence less central to the purchase.
