The conceptual Samsung Slac is a wearable audio accessory system that images a new generation of tech products that prioritize functionality as well as form. The wearable system consists of a three-part setup that includes an open-ear ring that can be worn for enjoying audio, a wrist-worn tracking ring and a home charging station. The sculptural form of the devices allow for seamless access to audio experiences, but will keep the user aware of their surroundings by not covering the ears or placing a screen on the wrist.
The conceptual Samsung Slac is the design work of Youngha Rho, Minchae Kim, Doa Kim, Si Heon Song and Seunghee Kim, and also puts the focus back onto a tactile interface with no touchscreens for intuitive navigation.
