The eerie short film entitled 'Hypocentre', from French film makers Claire and Maxime, shows viewers an unfamiliar side of Paris. The film turns Paris into a beautiful barren city, resulting in an extremely thought-provoking short film.
This four minute video has a real post-apocalyptic feel. Paris is a city swarmed by tourists, so it's pretty uncanny to see it's streets completely empty. The film also includes short clips (some in black and white) of things like nurses treating patients. When strung together, these images become a little unsettling.
There is an ominous piano tune playing while the footage roles, which really helps to reinforce the eerie feel behind this short film.
This flick forces viewers to wonder where all the people are and whats happened to them, but it also allows them to see the stunning streets of Paris without crowds and cars getting in the way.
