Instacart Looks to Engage Its Customer Base Through Shop Talk

Instacart, the produce delivery company, launched a community hub named 'Shop Talk.' Shop Talk will provide customers with a platform to seek out shopping advice, share previous purchase experiences and more. The platform will also have profiles for people who use Instacart. Users can create a profile by submitting personal information.

The Shop Talk platform also gives Instacart users the ability to send feedback, and vote on proposed suggestions that could have the platform. Overall the new platform could engage more customers with the service, through fostering online interactions. Additionally, the platform will be better able to know what new service customers may want, and how to improve its already existing service.
