Recipe Sharing Platforms

Instacart Now Allows Content Creators to Connect Ingredients to Recipes

Instacart has unveiled a new feature for its application called 'Shoppable Recipes.' With Shoppable Recipes, content creators on 'TikTok' and 'Tasty' can create recipes and embed a direct link to their content that directs fans to Instacart. The content creator can individually select items on Instacart that are suited for the recipe. This list will be shown to fans who click on the new 'View Recipe' button on TikTok and Tasty. Additionally, if some items are out of stock, Instacart will show similar items that can be substituted in the recipe.

This feature allows for foodie content creators to grow their following through Instacart as well as through traditional social media services. On top of this, foodie creators can now connect to their fans on a higher level, as fans will be able to purchase the exact items used by the creator and attempt to cook the recipe themselves.
