The Shleep app made its debut at CES 2018, introducing science-backed ways to help consumers get themselves a better quality of rest at night.

Although there have been many sleep apps, gadgets and systems launched over the past few years, Shleep sets itself apart by providing a smart interface, a science-based personal sleep coach that is ever-available and five minutes of coaching every day. The app takes a personalized approach to helping one improve their sleep habits and after a few simple questions are answered, a customized program is delivered.

Since improving one's sleep routine will likely involve making subtle changes to other parts of one's lifestyle, the app helps users to understand some of the behaviors they may be participating in that leads to a disturbed sleep—or potentially in the long run, the increased risk of disease.
