SHEIN x Alibris Partner for Gen Z's Interest in Books

SHEIN x Alibris introduce an expanded literary offering to the SHEIN Marketplace, providing shoppers with access to more than 100,000 book titles across a wide range of popular genres, including romance, fantasy, mystery, non-fiction, and young adult.

The selection also features affordable textbooks, positioning the platform as a destination that serves both recreational readers and students seeking functional, cost-effective resources. The assortment will continue to grow in the coming months as additional Alibris titles are added.

Findings from a recent "SHEIN Marketplace U.S. survey of more than 11,000 adults highlight sustained interest in reading, with one-third of respondents reporting that they read books daily or weekly." The results reflect a notable resurgence in print culture, driven in large part by Gen Z engagement. Moreover, "romance ranked as the most preferred genre, followed closely by fantasy and mystery."
