'Figure 1' is an app that allows doctors to upload and share medical images, which is why it has been dubbed the "Instagram for doctors." This convenient app allows doctors and healthcare professional alike to upload anonymous images from anywhere across the globe.

The idea behind the app is to create a safe a secluded environment to swap and share medical information. The medical experiences and relevant cases that appear on the app's feed remain anonymous and are only viewed by healthcare professionals. The app provides instant advice and procedural information, which avoids wasted time and allows doctors to provide aid more quickly.

While the app was originally created in 2013 and updated in 2014, the latest version of the app can be used in over 100 countries. It can also be accessed by medical students to increase their education. Dr. Joshua Landy's ultimate goal for this app is to "help democratize medical knowledge."
