Recognizing the increasing demand in space tourism and the fact that technology is allowing for cost-cutting in design, designer Tabriz Ahmadli has created the Shamaxi Space Hotel, an intergalactic hotel concept that provides luxury accommodations for space tourists.
The Shamaxi Space Hotel concept is designed to provide accommodations for about 30 to 35 visitors. It will include at least five toilets -- as individual bathrooms can't be provided -- as well as private rooms for each guest. Each room will offer storage compartments and sleeping bags instead of beds. However, the designer points out that guests can customize the interior trim for their private rooms. Also, the rooms will have telescopes so that guests can get views of the Earth, the Moon and the sunset and sunrise.
