The RuuviTag is a futuristic new sensor beacon, developed by Finland-based inventor Sharnon Tulabadi, that is specifically designed to combine the best of Bluetooth connectivity and the Internet of Things. This beacon is without a doubt one of the most advanced open-source sensor beacon technologies that are available.
Currently the subject of a crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter, this particular sensor beacon comes equipped with a whole range of functions that allow it to interact with and measure different parameters to do with the physical environment. It is able to measure everything from atmospheric temperature and relative humidity to acceleration and altitude.
