Self-Sealing Liquid Packaging

AeroFlexx Develops Cap-Free Containers for Industrial Lubricants

AeroFlexx is expanding self-sealing liquid packaging into automotive and industrial lubricants through a partnership with Consolidated Brands. The packaging combines flexible materials with a supportive airframe that maintains container stability during handling. An integrated valve replaces conventional caps, allowing users to dispense liquids through a controlled squeeze while minimizing dripping and leakage. Designed for one-handed operation, the container also helps users access remaining contents while requiring substantially less plastic than traditional rigid alternatives.

The collaboration introduces new manufacturing opportunities through Consolidated Brands' facility in Highlands, Texas, where AeroFlexx filling equipment will be installed. This arrangement gives lubricant manufacturers access to an established production and distribution network while supporting future increases in packaging volume. For industrial liquid brands, the format offers an opportunity to reduce material consumption and product waste while improving dispensing convenience.

Cap-free Dispensing
Integrated valve systems are reshaping liquid packaging by reducing leakage, simplifying one-handed use, and removing reliance on separate caps.
Flexible Rigid Hybrids
Packaging that blends pliable materials with structural airframes creates lighter formats that retain stability while cutting plastic consumption.
Low-waste Lubricant Packaging
Industrial fluids are gaining cleaner dispensing formats that minimize drips, improve product evacuation, and support sustainability-minded operations.

Where This Applies

Industrial Packaging
Self-sealing container formats introduce new possibilities for material reduction, cleaner handling, and scalable filling infrastructure.
Automotive Lubricants
Lubricant brands benefit from packaging systems that improve workshop usability while reducing mess, waste, and rigid plastic dependence.
Contract Manufacturing
Installed filling equipment within established facilities expands access to specialized packaging without requiring brands to build dedicated production networks.
