Fine Craftsmanship Gone Awry

Seiler Metal Suspension Piano

Is it just me, or is this really bizarre? Why would a piano maker that has been making quality instruments for 155 years make something like this? True, they only made four, but wood is just so magnificent when crafted into a fine piano. I guess they felt the need to stretch their imaginative muscles. It's not even featured on their website, so I have a feeling this is a bad idea they would rather not brag about.
