Microsoft has created a new security feature for its computers, which is titled Secured-core PC. The new tool is able to protect against malware that attempts to target a computer's firmware.
In order to launch Secured-core PC, Microsoft will work with chip manufacturing companies including AMD, QUALCOMM and more. Microsoft’s efforts with these companies will see that security features are built into future computer chips.
Secure-core PC could drastically change the way people protect their devices. This is because the system protects against future attacks, instead of simply detecting attacks that have already occurred.
Many consumers place a premium on security for their devices, and Microsoft’s new system is able to cater to the needs of security-conscious consumers.
