Award-Winning London Garden Homes

Nic Howett Architect Designs the Secret Garden Flat

Design studio Nic Howett Architect and its Secret Garden Flat win London's best new home improvement project as decided by Dont Move Improve! 2023. The home rests on the ground floor and demonstrates the effort of working at a high standard using a low budget. The designer resides at the home with his family and it is a remodeled home in Southwark that focuses on maximizing space.

Hilson Moran's sustainability director at engineering consultant and judge Marie-Louise Schembri explains that "The Secret Garden is full of surprises. This beautiful home in a very busy and dense urban part of London feels like an oasis and has consolidated existing neighbourhood and family communities. The transformation process tells a story of vision, perseverance, collaboration and organic growth."
