'Where's Warhol?' Takes Andy Warhol on a Waldo-Themed Adventure

— February 8, 2016 — Pop Culture
The popular 'Where's Waldo?' search book has been given a pop art makeover with the release of the 'Where's Warhol?' book. Inspired by the iconic Waldo children's books, this publication encourages children to search for pop art artist Andy Warhol.

Where's Warhol? sees the iconic artistic figure traveling throughout different periods in art history, from Jean-Michel Basquiat decorating the streets of NYC to Michelangelo applying his creative touches to the Sistine Chapel. Like the classic Where's Waldo? search book, readers are challenged to find Warhol in a sea of various people and elements throughout 12 separate settings. In addition to the aforementioned art history themes, this book also includes celebrity cameos including popular figures from the 70s Studio 54.

Each scene was accurately recreated by art historian Catharine Ingram while Andrew Rae provided the illustrations.
