OMEGA will release a limited edition version of the Seamster Planet Ocean for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. The watchmaker will now be the Offical Timekeeper for the Olympics for the 29th time. The company will produce and release 2,020 limited edition models of the artisan timepiece.
The watch measures in at 39.5 mm, with a design inspired by the Japanese flag. This is due to the white Liquidmetal™ ceramic bezel, which contrasts with the red number 20 dial. The watch features a white leather strap as well as a white dial and a red dot on the end of the second hand. The watch is powered by the OMEGA Master Chronometer Calibre 8800 movement system. The back of the Seamster Planet Ocean displays the Tokyo 2020 logo as well as the watches number.
