The Sea-Doo Search and Rescue is an all-new personal watercraft built by Bombardier Recreational Products as a targeted water rescue craft. The Sea-Doo was built after taking into account fire rescue workers and other personnel, and has the necessary strength and stability needed to rescue people from rough waters.
The Sea-Doo has a reinforced heavy-duty front bumper and elastomer hull coating. It is fitted with dual sponsons on the flanks, which widen the vessel, increasing its buoyancy and stability. Running boards on top provide safe and sure footing for rescue personnel, while navigation lights provide good visibility in all conditions.
The Sea-Doo can also be outfitted with an additional rescue sled, which provides additional space to haul victims to safety.
