Soccer-Themed AR Activations

Pepsi Launches the 'Score with Pogba' Augmented Reality Game

Pepsi has teamed up with KFC and Pizza Hut, both owned by parent company Yum Brands, to launch a series of AR-powered activations featuring soccer superstar Paul Pogba. Of course, the new campaign looks to capitalize on the UEFA Champions League competition.

The new campaign includes the 'Score with Pogba' Pizza Hut digital activation, which was designed by digital production studio Tool of North America. The activation arrives in the form of a mobile game that is accessible through a scannable QR code. The game allows players to step into Pogba's shoes and dribble a virtual soccer ball through various obstacles.

Meanwhile, the KFC collaboration includes a different AR-powered activation that invites users to build a large bucket-like contraption for storing their fried chicken. This digital component was made by design studio Sky Pie.
