The Schiaparelli Fall Couture Line Uses Three Major Inspirations

While many thought Schiaparelli would fail after the departure of Marco Zanin, the Schiaperelli Fall '15 Couture Collection proves that the label is still destined for prosperity.
After a successful Spring '15 Couture season, the Italian label is back with a fall collection that is evident in versatility and Elsa Schiaperelli style. The newest design director Bertrand Guyon utilized three mood boards for the latest couture line. Taking inspiration from the 30s Paris theater scene, Elsa Schiaperelli herself, and Leigh Bowery, this collection features a wide range of couture looks. Portraying an extravagant simplicity, Guyon crafted opulent garments such as a floor-sweeping chiffon gown in Schiaperelli pink and relaxed gossamer biker jackets.
The Schiaperelli Fall '15 Couture Collection would make the late designer proud.
