The Saporiti ABC Libreria is as Literal as the Books it Embraces

With so much reading material stashed inside, you can't blame a bookcase like the Saporiti ABC Libreria for wanting to get a little verbal. The modular storage system is made up of individual cubbies accented with secondary shelving that creates numbers 0 through 9 and the letters of the alphabet.

Italian designers Roberto Saporiti and Eva Alessandrini conceived this lightheartedly literal piece of furniture with the idea that the owner can stack his own piece in whatever arrangement he prefers, allowing him first to choose which characters and wooden stains to purchase. The shelving units can be made as large or as small as desired, and may even be displayed throughout a space as separate units. The Saporiti ABC Libreria finally offers the loaded furnishing a way to talk back.
