The S7 Airlines Campaign Granted Free Trips Using Brainwave Headset

— April 21, 2015 — World
The travel industry continues to push boundaries throughout every possible experience, which the S7 Airlines campaign demonstrates. Using an EEG-brainwave headset, it puts a futuristic twist on choosing a destination to go to. Of course, since it's a publicity stunt, people were able to walk away with free trips to their dream destination.

Created by Weiden + Kennedy and Tellart, the S7 Airlines Campaign -- which was aptly dubbed 'Fly to any place you can imagine' -- had participants wear the headset and then think really hard about the place they wanted to travel to. Linked to an impressive visual of a large globe, a machine would pre-program the ideal flight path. Psfk reports, "The individual would then have 45 seconds to guide the on-screen plane along the flight-plan, with lapses in focus causing it to veer off-course. If the plane was able to reach the destination in time, that zen master was then offered free tickets to that same location."
