Rym 9000's trailer begins with an epilepsy warning, promising players a hectic, distorted, trembling and ultimately unbelievable gaming experience. Developed by Sonoshee, this high-octane hyperkinetic shooter is inspired by anime classics such as Akira, Neon Genesis Evangelion and Guxt. The visuals are the true drawing point to this game, as the shifting and frantic artworks takes players to a level of hyper-stimulation. Lights, colors, and effects are used to their fullest in Rym 9000 and thanks to an intense musical composition, players are sure to experience something truly amazing and fast-paced.
Rym 9000 places players in a spaceship and tasks them with treasure-hunting on the moon. The player can then input names on a worldwide leaderboard and can also unlock achievements. This may sound like a fairly basic game, but Rym 9000 does actually have a great story within the frantic gameplay. Through achievements and high scores, a player can learn more about the game's lore hidden behind the gameplay. Rymm 9000 speaks to a new generation of games that are a callback to retro gaming.
