The fashion industry is turning a year of disruption into opportunity by going digital, as seen by the new RUNWAY360 platform from the CFDA. It's no secret that many fashion shows are now going completely digital, offering a refreshing and accessible way for people to experience new collections in their entirety, often with more depth and insight than before.
RUNWAY360 was developed as a one-stop-shop for designers to showcase their new collections and this new portal is launching in September along with the revised schedule for NYFW. The platform boasts augmented and virtual reality features, e-commerce shopping experiences, virtual showrooms, 360-viewings, live streaming, social media integrations and services to support up-and-coming talents and designers of color in the industry.
