Roma Provisions Works to Keep Kids Safe

For many less fortunate kids, to own a pair of shoes is incredible, but if they happen to live in cold weather, owning a pair of boots from the hybrid company Roma Provisions could help save their life. Working with the one for one concept, this business has the mission to keep children from the east and central European countries warm and cozy.

Founded by Samuel Bistrian, the retailer sells its rain boots in the United States, and when one pair is sold, a child living in poverty gets a new set thanks to Roma’s subsidiary, Roma for All. Although Bistrian now lives in the United States, he was born in Romania, which is the reason why he felt so compelled to change a reality that sadly affects the younger ones the worst. Many of the gypsy children have to endure living and working in some of the most icy climates, generally losing their fingers due to frostbite and dying from pneumonia or hypothermia. 

In addition to improving children’s living conditions, Roma Provisions is determined to connect a series of foundations to empower and educate the little ones. The enterprise also has a donation option on the website with packages including boots and school supplies, boots and money.
