Barcel of Mexico's Grupo Bimbo recently added a cheese-flavored variety to its existing line-up of rolled tortilla chips. When most people think of tortilla chips, they picture the flat, triangular-shaped chips that are usually paired with salsa. This brand puts a creative twist on the traditional tortilla chip by drawing inspiration from another popular Mexican dish.

'Takis Xplosion' is the latest addition to Barcel's existing Takis line-up. The snack consists of mini corn tortilla chips that have been rolled up in a way that resembles a deep fried taquito. The chips themselves are primarily made from corn masa flour and topped with a spicy cheese seasoning. The unique shape and piquant flavor is designed to provide a flavorful alternative to traditional tortilla chips.
