Asda's Rollback Roller Disco Shared Affordable Staples

To call attention to its price-conscious Rollback initiative, supermarket chain Asda took over Margate's Dreamland to reimagine it as a supermarket-themed roller disco.

For two days, guests were invited to lace up a pair of roller skates and fill their baskets with as many Rollback items as possible in a 45-minute session. Speedy shoppers who successfully ticked off all the items from their prepared shopping list were entered to win vouchers from Asda.

This event, and the Rollback initiative, aim to make it easier for families to access and prepare low-cost meals, and provide recipe inspiration for turning great deals into incredible dishes. For the event and campaign surrounding Rollback, Asda teamed up with TV fitness personality Joe Wicks.
