ROCO (Ring of Communication) was designed to open up lines of communication during boardroom meetings.

Regardless of communication types (passive or active) ROCO's circular design creates a relaxed atmosphere and can be used with or without technology.

The center of the table has an embedded touch screen monitor and the unit can be flipped over on its side to be used a display during presentations.

Implications - There are growing amounts of furniture options that approach conventional furnishing concepts with a fresh perspective and think consciously about who the consumers of these furnishings will be. This conscious thought allows furniture companies and designers to address the needs of these buyers. Hybrid, multi-functional furnishings for the office are the best example of this conscious design pattern.
