Moley Robotics' latest project is a robotic chef, integrated into a beautifully designed kitchen. The company has developed a robot that will make you dinner from start to finish, along with cleaning up after you've finished eating. Moley Robotics founder, computer scientist Mark Oleynik, thought of the idea when he wished to replace takeout with healthy, fresh food options at home.
This robotic kitchen is predominately comprised of disembodied robotic arms connected to a fridge, cabinet and a dishwasher for clean up after. The concept works by preparing meals from digital recipes that the user selects from an online database. Simply select the meal, enter the number of people, set up the prepared ingredients and the rest is carried out by your own robotic chef.
