The robot barista, a result of the collaboration between Texas-based start-up Briggo and Fuseproject, may be able to fully replace the person behind the counter at your local coffee shop.

Coffee enthusiasts may be skeptical to leave their cup of coffee in the hands of robots, fearing for quality and that special ‘human touch’ that might not be there. However, Briggo aims to create an even higher standard of specialty coffees that takes your order via an app on your smartphone.

The vending machine designed by Yves Behar teleports you into the future. The use of robots makes for an elevated experience that prioritizes themselves in making you the perfect cup of coffee. Gone are the days of excessively long line-ups and wait times as these shortcomings are all eliminated by ‘Coffee Haus’ robot baristas. With options to add skim milk, soy milk, extra shots of espresso, the ‘Coffee Haus’ will have your perfectly customized coffee ready.
