The Road ID App Helps Danger-Seekers Stay Safe

Road ID has a helpful app that promotes safety amongst thrill seekers, allowing them to do what they love and let friends and family (or anyone else who'd rather be safe at home) track them from afar.

With the new eCrumb feature, the app makes it easy to share progress and contact someone in case of an emergency. As a precaution, the app lets you specify your type of adventure and how long you expect to be doing that activity for.

If something really goes wrong, the app's Stationary Alert Notification will kick in, and if it doesn't detect any movement for five minutes, it will inform contacts of your whereabouts. The app is especially handy because contacts on the other end don't require the app itself to receive notifications.
