Romaine Jermaine, a luxury watchmaker, and Pokemon, the internationally adored anime franchise, have created an unlikely partnership to offer a fun and campy luxury product. The RJ X Pokemon watch is a limited-edition timepiece that features Pokemon's most famous character: Pikachu.
Each part of the RJ X Pokemon watch is handcrafted, including the Pikachu itself, which is an appliqué hand-painted in yellow cold enamel. The base plate of the watch is patterned with lightning bolts in reference to Pikachu's abilities. The straps of the watch come in three styles: black vulcanized rubber, black rubber molded into a leather pattern and black fabric.
As a limited-edition product, there are only 20 RJ X Pikachu watches. But with a price of $20,000, that amount of stock is more understandable.
