The footwear company has been successful in solidifying its iconic status as a brand thanks to the endless array of differently styled silhouettes that render the models almost a collector’s item – and for some, they are.
Converse Japan boasts a new rippable sneakers, expanding the label’s customizable options. The silhouette is the All-Star His and this iteration is named ‘RIPLAYER’ which introduces a “distinctive DIY look” to the footwear. Consumers can opt-in for this option for $75 USD and can rip the upper layer of their Chucks to reveal a lower layer – from purple to pink.
