The Rogue Ridge Model RB1000, or Ridge Warrior, is a new e-bike that falls into the often-neglected fat bike category. While plenty of electric commuter, mountain and road bikes have been released, the fat bike is generally overlooked, Rogue Ridge is hoping to change this with its amazing Ridge Warrior. The e-bike comes equipped with a powerful electric motor and large battery, and is capable of putting out 1,000 watts of power. The entire system is controlled and monitored using an onboard LCD screen that displays distance, speed, battery life and other important information.
Unlike most e-bikes on the market, the Ridge Warrior does not feature a pedal assist feature. Instead, the fat bike utilizes a throttle-mounted system—located on the handlebars—that can be can be activated even when the rider isn't pedaling. This system allows the Ridge Warrior to reach up to 30 mph for 29 miles. To support this feature, the bike's drive system uses a carbon fiber belt that is rated to last for over 10,000 miles.
