Its geometry creates moments of enclosure and openness, allowing users to sit, lean, or stand while looking outward through carefully positioned openings. The pavilion functions as a resting point rather than a destination, emphasizing brief occupation and movement.
The structure is constructed from a restrained palette of materials selected for durability and outdoor exposure. Surfaces are treated to withstand weather while maintaining a consistent appearance over time. Integrated seating elements are built directly into the looped form, eliminating the need for additional furniture. The pavilion’s layout supports multiple viewpoints, with sightlines oriented toward specific landscape features.
