This responsive mat has been designed by Sacha Buliard as a solution for those looking to connect more with their mind and body by moving in different ways. The mat is constructed using ecological foam and features a perfect size that will easily encompass the person's entire body as they shift around on it to explore their own movement. The mat is designed to accommodate four major stages including to wake, balance, explore and touch.

The responsive mat is part of the 'Unlearn, partition ouverte vers une conscience corporelle' project that's inspired by the dance technique 'Contact-Improvisation' by Steve Paxton. This includes participants using the physical laws of momentum, friction, inertia and gravity to explore their own bodies.
