Respect Your Roots is a tribute series and skate apparel collection, put together by Adidas Skateboarding, that honors four of skateboarding's early pioneers -- Kareem Campbell, Joey Bast, Drake Jones and Richard Angelides.
The collection, which is centered around the iconic Superstar shoe but also includes tees, recognizes these four personalities for their considerable contribution towards the progression of modern street skating. The pack includes four different capsules consisting of a Superstar shoe in a signature colorway and a graphic t-shirt featuring historic action photos of each skater.
The Kareem Campbell and Richard Angelides collections will be available on April 3, while the Drake Jones and Joey Bast offerings will hit stores on June 1.
This collection brings together style and functionality, but perhaps more importantly aims to remind young and upcoming skaters of the pioneers of their craft.
