Ohm Health's Ohm Resonance Lamp Helps Calm Users

Ohm Health has introduced a consumer wellness device — dubbed the Ohm Resonance Lamp — which employs synchronized light patterns, sound, and a handheld sensor to "support real-time self-regulation through guided breathing."

Specifically, the product builds on a practice known as 'resonance breathing,' where the user's breathing rate is aligned to optimize heart rate variability. This, in turn, will theoretically promote activation of the body's calming parasympathetic nervous system. The process begins with the user holding a small sensing stone and breathing to the cues that the lamp gives. Unlike passive tracking wearables, the Ohm Resonance Lamp provides real-time biofeedback and uses its sensors to adjust its guiding light and tactile cues based on the user's physiological signals.

Ohm Health positions its Ohm Resonance Lamp as an accessible, screen-free tool for managing daily stress and improving focus. The innovation was developed with input from advisors associated with established wellness brands.
