Apple Will Launch a Research App Along with Three Health Studies

Apple is launching a Research app that will give United States Apple users the option to participate in various health- related studies. Data will be taken form users' smartwatch as well as the Apple Health app. Apple announced that will use its data to conduct studies with the University of Michigan, as well as the World Health organization and more.
The topics of the studies will include long term hearing health, and physical activity effects on health, as well as infertility and osteoprosis.
Apple also indicated that it will respect privacy concerns with data collection, and it stated users will get to decide what data to share. Additionally, Apple is unable to record or access information with a specific user name attached to it.
