Interior design studio Hauvette & Madani shines a spotlight on the kitchen within the Republique apartment in Paris. The kitchen is defined by a rich wine-red tone and it is set in a classic Haussmann-era building.
The commission was to create a design that orbits around the atmospheric kitchen and the studio did so by adding a captivating color palette and rendering the linoleum cabinets and island. Founders of the studio Samantha Hauvette and Luxas Madani speak about the design project to Dezeen, stating that "We wanted a dark but joyful colour and ended up deciding on this substantial red. We also love the fact [the colour's] eccentricity matches the rest of the calm and soft apartment."
