The pervasive nature of smartphones and the Android operating system is pushing other mobile devices to be more focused on efficiency as seen with the Remix OS Acer Aspire ES1-131 laptop. Set to launch exclusively in China, the laptop will run the Remix operating system, which is inspired by the functionality and capability of the Android operating system.
The laptop will feature an Intel Celeron N3150 processor, 4GB of RAM, a 500GB hard drive and much more to boot. Being labeled as a "concept laptop" that is only set to be available for a limited release, the Remix OS Acer Aspire ES1-131 helps to expand the reach of the operating system. As mobile devices become increasingly pervasive, we could continue to see more traditional devices take on similar properties.
