Löfbergs is bringing Löfbergs Honduras to Strawberry hotels across the Nordics, putting ROC-certified coffee in front of hotel guests starting October 1. ROC, short for Regenerative Organic Certified, adds standards for healthier soil, broader biodiversity and wages across the supply chain, making Löfbergs the first large European roaster to sell coffee under the certification.
The specialty Arabica comes from the Cafico cooperative in Honduras, with beans grown at 1,100 to 1,900 meters. Löfbergs and Strawberry are also backing a Peru project with La Prosperidad de Chirinos to expand and mechanize organic fertilizer production, a move that trial plots tie to yield gains of 10 to 15 percent.
ROC-certified coffee in Nordic hotels turns regenerative sourcing into a visible guest-facing choice rather than a background purchasing rule. The Peru fertilizer project also links certification to farm output, giving hospitality buyers a clearer path to scale this kind of coffee.
