Redefine Meat's 'New Meat' Line Introduces Five Vegan Proteins

Redefine Meat's 'New Meat' line consists of five new protein products that will be offered at select restaurants and hotels throughout Israel. The products include the Redefine Burger, Redefine Ground Beef, Redefine Lamb Kabob, Redefine Sausage, and Redefine Cigar.

The Israeli plant-based meat company will be using innovative 3D-printing technology in combination with ingredients it calls “Alt-Fat,” “Alt-Muscle,” and “Alt-Blood,” to create unique, plant-based alternatives to classic meat-based products. In order to truly mimic the taste and feel of real meat, the company constructs its products in accordance with "70 sensorial parameters," all of which influence things like their texture, juiciness, and fat distribution.

The launch of Redefine Meat's 'New Meat' line is indicative of the plant-based meat market becoming more complex, as companies look to offer consumers a wider array of meat mimicry.
