Recreated Famous Paintings

Cute Couple Mimics the Stylish Looks in Classic Artworks

The recreated famous paintings of Sabinna, a fashion designer based in London and Vienna, and her engineer boyfriend David are quite compelling. At least fashionably so. Inspired after visiting an exhibition in which she inadvertently matched the outfit of one of the painted ladies, the duo decided to make this more of a deliberate habit and photograph the results.

While some of the recreated famous paintings look very modernized, others are uncannily similar. Although a playful project in general, the looks could easily be worn down the street today. This simply goes to show that people can and should continue to draw daily inspiration from such masterpieces. They can even start their own recreated famous paintings if they feel truly inspired.
