Re-imagining existing furniture has never been more economical, or educational, than the Recession-Friendly Wurkchair. Although it’s been awhile since I’ve sat in a school desk, I recall those days of sitting backwards in my chair, trying to look cool. Sometimes it worked; other times, I just made a clumsy fool out of myself.

The Recession-Friendly Wurkchair is a more condensed version of that idea. There is also another concept that makes the chair a toy, rather than something uber functional. Interesting concepts for these penny-saving times.
